Spring Summer 2017 / No. 2

The traditional attire of Quechua women inspired silhouettes and details for us this season—coming to life in a semi-full circle skirt and culotte style skort, waisted tie details and wrapping elements.  There is an artful simplicity in Andean dressing, a uniformity to their traditional clothing.  Each woman makes her own ensembles unique through trimming and original embroidery.

In appreciating elemental shapes of both ancient Andean structures and blocks of harvested salt, we resolved to champion classic, easy silhouettes.  We reinterpreted them as the Quechua women might, with subtle twists and new takes on color, while always thinking about wearability.  What would we want to wear while exploring Cusco or walking around Salinas de Maras?  Take a look at our SS'17 collection to find out.
